Ribbons and Bows

I have noticed and been inspired by some pretty ribbons and bows that I've seen on others cards. I found a very easy to follow video on youtube explaining how to make two different bows for cards. This is the one I watched, but there are several good ones on the site. I decided to try them out and found them easy to do. Below are two examples of how I used some cute ribbons I found to make two different bows on cards. Let me know what you think!

First Card Making Experience

Here is the result of my first night of cardmaking! Since I was feeling a little unsure of myself, I tried to keep the designs pretty simple. They can apply to pretty much any occasion, and I thought it might appeal to a greater audience. I think I did pretty good for my first time ever! Let me know what you think!

Hi! I'm Steff. I work in Houston as engineer. As much as I love my job and being very technical, I also love having a creative outlet for my artistic side. I've always loved cute stationary, cards, stamps, and stickers. I decided to bring these interests together and try my hand at making handmade cards.
